If you're content with exactly where you live, tell us why in terms of the outdoor recreation.
If you're not content, tell us where you would locate to.
Me:
I have two. One would be Ashton. Love the scenery of the foothills of the Tetons lowering down into the barley fields, with aspen stands mixed in. Nice places to fish Henry's Fork upstream or down, Warm River, and the Teton River nearby. Island Park Res. and Henry's Lake are a stone's throw to the north, and Ririe Res., Palisades Res., and the South Fork are an easy drive south. Not bad hunting in Island Park or the Palisades. But good paying jobs in Ashton are not easy to come by, and I can't do Rexburg or IF.
The other would be Ketchum/Hailey. Good paying jobs might be easier to get there, but the cost of living is high. But you're right at the doorstep of several awesome mountain ranges - the Pioneers, Whiteclouds, Boulders, etc. You can easily cruise over to Copper Basin or to Mackay. Centrally located to conveniently get to the Salmon River, Lost Rivers, Wood Rivers, Silver Creek, and Magic Res. South Fork of the Boise isn't too far off either. Good fishing all around. The hunting isn't bad either, especially with large roadless tracts like those in the Pioneers.

I live in Caldwell, but grew up in Homedale.
If I could move with no strings attached... New Meadows. Its cenralized for several different places I like to hunt.
Since I have a wife and 3 kids, we will stay in the Treasure Valley. There are lots of hospitals for my wife to choose from, and its close to our families. I work online, so anywhere with internet would do for me.
