You can check whether you were successful or not by going to the IF&G website. Then click on the icon at the bottom of the home page that says: Buy Licenses. Log-in with your hunter identification, and click on the button that says you want to buy licenses or tags. Confirm your address, and click Continue. Click on the "Tags" Tab at the top of the screen, and look at what tags are available for you to purchase.
I didn't get my Unit 49 early elk hunt that I wanted, but I knew I was more likely to get struck by lightning than having that happen anyway. Did get an extra doe tag though, which will not make the wife happy, because she thinks she doesn't like deer meat!
Curious as to how the rest of you did!

This is not IF&G's official way of announcing if you were successful or not. So make sure you check the official announcement before you consider what you find right now as gospel.

looks like I got the extra doe tag as well but did not draw my any elk tag... oh well! Still more meat in the freezer for me!

I applied for moose this year, so my regular applications were somewhat underwhelming. I drew an unlimited pronghorn archery tag (virtually the only tag I can ever draw) and an extra whitetail doe tag. Still excited! There's nothing like a backcountry OTC general tag to test your hunting prowess!

I struck out on Mountain goat, so I was limited on what I could apply for. Still managed a turkey, extra cow and an unlimited antelope tag. Pretty good considering a lot of people think you can't put in for anything once you apply for a trophy specie.
Can't wait for 2nd chance to come around. Long odds but I drew a bear tag. 505 applicants and 5 tags and I was one of the chosen ones.

femoralarchery, welcome to the forum.
Which bear tag did you draw?

Drew the 22/31 tag. I guess I should have mentioned that I drew it in the 2nd drawing LAST year. I could have sworn I put that in there.
